Founded in 2002 by entrepreneur-innovator Yatin Tambe, FWT now ranks amongst the top companies in the world in the friction welding industry.

In one of its greatest innovations, FWT built the super-powerful FWT-50 machine which can perform the job of two huge machines. Its state-of-the-art parameter control system and versatility in manufacturing components across varying sizes and geometries, helped build some of the critical components of the prestigious BrahMos missile. It was because of FWT’s confidence in their technology and design expertise that helped Godrej Aerospace division to build the missile completely indigenously.
